Be sure that your laptop or wireless device is able to receive wireless Internet. This generally requires a card or some type of wireless access device, which could be internal. Desktop computers generally require some type of wireless device equipment that needs to be added to your existing setup.
Assuming you are using a laptop, make sure that your laptop is wireless enabled. If you can see your wireless connection in the bottom right-side of your desktop window, right-click on it and click to view the available wireless network connections.

Select the AmericanWiFi Public Access connection, and click Connect at the bottom of the page. Just open up an Internet Browser, and you should see our portal page. Enter your e-mail address, click on "Go", and you are online.
If you are trying to access AmericanWiFi from a desktop computer, you may need to use a wireless USB adapter. This type of equipment is available at any computer store. If the signal isn't strong enough to connect or you experience connection problems, please consider signing up for our paid service to ensure the best possible connection.
